Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to questions we hear most often from home buyers and sellers in Colorado.
What's included in a standard inspection?
A standard home inspection covers all major systems and components: foundation and structure, exterior, roof, interior rooms, insulation, attic, basement, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances. Our inspector examines everything accessible and safe to access, then documents findings with photos and detailed notes.
How long does an inspection take?
Most home inspections take 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the property size and age. You're welcome to follow along during the inspection to learn about your home's systems and condition.
When do I get my report?
We deliver comprehensive written reports within 24 hours of the inspection. Reports include detailed findings, photos, and recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
Should I attend the inspection?
Yes—we encourage you to be present. Walking through with our inspector is a great opportunity to ask questions, see issues firsthand, and learn how major systems work.
